Welcome to The LAB, tucked away just off Buchanan Street in Glasgow’s city centre. Since opening in 1999, we’ve been known for our quirky cocktails, legendary test-tube shots, and hidden beer garden—offering locals and visitors alike a place to unwind, celebrate, and make memories.

Over the years, The LAB has become a city institution. From earning the title of Scotland’s Best Pub in 2010 to countless nights filled with laughter, music, and good company, our story has always been about more than just drinks—it’s about the community that’s grown around us.

In 2024, after nearly 25 years of service, The LAB briefly closed its doors—only to be saved and given a fresh lease of life. With new energy and vision, we’re investing in the space, from revitalising the interiors to refreshing our menus and events, while keeping hold of the things that made us special in the first place.

Here at The LAB, we’re not just a bar. We’re part of Glasgow’s history—and, with you, part of its future too.
